Glider Orientation Flights are conducted year round, mainly out of Boulder Airport. We have done flights in Cortez, Canon City, Meadowlake Airport and others. Flights at Owl Canyon Glider Port - just North of exit 281, I25 can be arranged with one to two weeks notice. With arrangements, we can do a "Road Show" and provide O'Flights anywhere in the state and with proper permissions, out of the state. We encourage Cadets to directly contact us to find out more about the Glider program.
Open Flying: We will announce on a regular basis when O'Flights are being given. Anyone, including Cadets may, via a written request, join us as an individual.

If you have not received a response to your request email within 2 days, please call 303.582.1008. Please check your email regularly for updates.
Glider Orientation Flight sessions can be scheduled by a Squadron Senior Member or directly by a Cadet or parent through Open Flying. FIRST checking our Glider Calendar, seeing if the date or dates wanted are available. Then for Squadrons, please contact the Senior Member in your Squadron responsible for scheduling Orientation Flights. Individuals and Squadrons then need to contact the . Always give us several alternate dates. All requests MUST be in writing via email. No verbal requests will be honored. All correspondence will be via email.

A minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 Cadets per session, per glider(20 flights max - for a full day of flying) can be scheduled, unless prior special arrangements are made.
Generally a maximum of 2 flights per session, per Cadet is allowed. This is done to give the Cadet the maximum experience without the possibility of motion sickness.
